On Friday 31st March, Rotherham Harriers in conjunction with the Rotherham School Games hosted the first post covid Primary Cross Country Championships at Hertingthorpe Stadium.

It was great to have the once popular event back up and running, with over 300 children participating in the 4 races on the day.Ìý

The WSSC Sports Leaders put on their high vis vests and marshaled the challenging course – 1500m for Y3/4 and 2000m for Y5/6. From general motivation to course alterations and even first aid, the Sports Leaders played a vital role in the success on the afternoon. Well done team!
