Acts of Kindness

Zara Wilcock in Year 7 consistently completes acts of kindness andÌýis an example to all of us.
Ìý
For many years, Zara has helped to raise funds for Bramley and Wickersley Lions. Zara has spent many evenings completing acts of kindness by delivering leaflets to advertise events along with taking responsibilityÌýwith collections too. As part of a team, Zara hasÌýraised money for numerous local charities including Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Bluebell Wood Hospice.
Ìý
Following the launch of Wickersley Pledges in September, Zara wanted to bake for the homeless, but was unable to do this due to restrictions. Not to be deterred, Zara contacted Rotherham Soup Kitchen along withÌýSunnyside Food Bank and simply asked how she could support them. Both groups were in need of food items to support the most vulnerable in society. Zara organised a collection of food items at school over recent weeks and has this week delivered said items.Ìý
Ìý
In December, Zara will be collectingÌýhampers to support the elderly and the vulnerable in our community.
Ìý
Zara, we are so proud of you!
